Hey, I’m Tobi.
I’m a yoga teacher and movement coach with a passion for exploring what the human body is capable of.
My journey started with yoga, but over time my practice naturally grew beyond the mat. I became fascinated by mobility, strength, handstands, bodyweight movement and the process of learning new skills.
Today, I bring all of those things together in the way I teach. I love helping people understand their bodies, move with more freedom and build the strength and control to do things they might not have thought were possible.
For me, movement isn’t about performing the perfect pose or chasing an ideal body. It’s about feeling capable, curious and at home in the body you have.
My Approach
I don't want to tell you how your body should move.
I want to help you understand how your body moves.
My teaching combines the awareness and depth of yoga with mobility, strength, control and movement exploration.
We work on the foundations — creating strength where you need it, developing mobility where you lack it and learning to control the range you already have.
From there, movement becomes less about limitations and more about possibilities.
STRENGTH · MOBILITY · CONTROL · AWARENESS · PLAY
How it started
Before yoga, movement for me was mostly about strength and performance. I grew up playing different sports, from martial arts to ball sports, and strength training has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. But somewhere along the way, I became strong without necessarily becoming more capable. I was getting stiffer, and I started dealing with the kind of aches and limitations that come from constantly pushing without paying enough attention — shoulder problems, knee issues, and a body that didn’t always feel as good as it should have. At the same time, I felt a little lost mentally and was looking for something that could bring me back to myself.
Then yoga came into my life, and it changed the way I understood movement.
It taught me to slow down, pay attention and actually listen to my body. I discovered that strength wasn’t the whole picture — that mobility, breath, awareness and control were just as important. And the more I practiced, the more curious I became about how all of these elements could work together.
Today, my approach is a combination of everything that has shaped me: the strength and discipline I found through sports and weight training, the awareness and depth of yoga, and the curiosity I developed through mobility and movement skills.
I still love lifting weights. Sometimes to get stronger, sometimes to support my yoga practice, and sometimes simply because it’s fun to feel strong. I don’t see these practices as separate anymore. To me, they are different tools that can help us build a body that is not only strong, but mobile, resilient and capable.
